Man tries to de-board running train, dies

A 37-year-old man died after he tried to de-board a running train in south Kashmir's Anantnag district today, police said.
Mukhtar Ahmad Wagay, a resident of Kharwar area of Shopian, tried to de-board a running train, at Khanabal in Anantnag district resulting in his on the spot death, a police official said.
He said the dead body has been handed over to the legal heirs for last the rites after the completion all medico-legal formalities.
Proceedings under section 174 CrPc, which deals with cases of accidental death, have been initiated, the official said.
