Prabhat Bariya tried to hang himself from a ceiling fan at his house on Ajwa road here last night, but his wife and daughter saw it in time and brought him down. Later they admitted him to a hospital, Kisanwadi police station officer Kanubhai said.
Prime facie, Bariya took this step as his son had reportedly failed in the standard 10 examinations whose results were declared yesterday, police said.
