"PM has recently launched the scheme under which you have to put in money in the account opened for the girl.
This is a very good scheme and every parents having girl child should put in money for their girls in the scheme account," Gandhi said.
She also suggested the school students to open 'kindness club' to conduct various activities and also motivated them to plant trees in order to address the challenges like pollution and others.
In the function at Birla auditorium, students of the Palace School gave colourful performances with messages of 'save girl' and 'donate eyes'.
