Manipur traffic records highest recovery in one day

Ahead of the upcoming Road Safety Week, the Manipur traffic recovered at least Rs two lakh from erring drivers and those who flouted regular traffic norms.
Deputy SP Ratana Ngasepam (Traffic) told PTI that the Manipur traffic made the highest amount of recovery in the history of Manipur traffic on December 31 during the two-day special drive to check rash driving on that day and the New Year by revellers.
She said that Rs one lakh alone was recovered from revellers, particularly under-aged drivers and three pillion riders during the drive.
