All the three men who were drunk when the incident occurred last night were arrested today and booked under various sections of IPC, including 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and Section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), police said.
The trio passed lewd comments at the girl and the 21-year- old student studying at a city college, who was passing by, confronted them for their misbehaviour, police said.
Last month, a Manipuri student leader was beaten up by three men for not speaking in Kannada.
