Addressing a gathering in Amloh constituency here, Mann said the people have made up their mind to wipe out the SAD-BJP alliance from the state's political scene.
Taking a dig at the Badals and Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Mann said they were trying to downplay the AAP effect in the state, "but the fact remains that thousands of people are turning up at AAP rallies on their own, which vindicates its popularity".
"Instead of controlling and correcting the deteriorating law and order situation, the Badals intend to create a division in the society out of frustration," he added.
"Corruption has touched new heights under Badals' rule, who are amassing wealth through corrupt practices and running different kinds of mafias, including drugs, land, transport, sand and gravel, cable mafia and recruitment scam," Mann alleged.
"Now, the time has come to give them the taste of their own medicine. They have virtually thrown the Punjab youth into drugs, who were struggling in the absence of job opportunities," Mann said.
The Sangrur MP accused the Badals of creating "a complete mess" in the state "by emotionally exploiting the people in the name of religion".
"The public cannot be fooled further as they have realised that Badals have literally ruined the state and a change is definitely the need of the hour," he said.
