This information was shared by Minister of State for I&B Rajyavardhan Rathore in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha.
"On the request of Prasar Bharati, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has approached Department of Expenditure for conducting Manpower Audit of Prasar Bharati," Rathore said.
He also added that the Sam Pitroda Committee had given its report on Prasar Bharati on January 24, 2014.
He said that the ministry has asked Prasar Bharati to prepare an action plan for undertaking reviews, studies and audits on various issues for preparing a vision and strategy for the public broadcaster.
