Maoist's illegal immovable property confiscated

Police have confiscated an illegal immovable asset of a Maoist in a village under in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said today.
Invoking section 25 of the Unlawful Prevention Activities Act, the police have confiscated 265.2 decimal land of a Maoist Adhiklal Mandal in Paharpur village that he had acquired through illegal means, the Munger Range DIG Sudhanshu Kumar said.
The confiscated land of Mandal has been valued at Rs.18.9 lakh, he said.
He was involved in several Maoist incidents and has been out on bail at present, the DIG said.
