Over 20 Maoists laced with fire arms arrived at Koulhua village, bordering Aurangabad district of Bihar, dragged out Shivnath Yadav (50) and his son Guddu Yadav (25) from their house and shot them dead late last night, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chatarpur), Sanjay Kumar, said.
The police suspect that the Maoists killed the father and son to scare the villagers, the SDPO said.
Superintendent of Police Indrajeet Mahatha along with an adequate force has rushed to the spot and launched a massive search operation to track down the Maoists, who were suspected to have sneaked into adjoining district of Bihar.
