The "Hero" singer, 45, has been a longtime fan, but she and Beyonce have never hit the studio or stage together, reported Contactmusic. "I would love to work with her anytime, she's amazing.
We've known each other for a while... It'll happen, when and if it happens... And if not, I'll always admire her and look at her as a friend. We have a lot of fun, she's fun. She's a great girl. I love her so much, I really do."
Carey did get the chance to collaborate with another super-famous friend, the late Whitney Houston, at the 1999 Oscars, when the two superstars performed Best Original Song winner "When You Believe".
