Mark Hamill was close to catching Fisher, Ford hooking up

Veteran actress Carrie Fisher says Mark Hamill was close to find out about her and Harrison Ford's secret relationship.
After admitting that she did have an affair with then-married Ford during the filming of "Star Wars" around 40 years ago, the actress revealed in a new excerpt of her upcoming book that Hamill once nearly caught the pair hooking up, reported E! online.
"Once, on one of the rare occasions when we did have a sleepover at Harrison's apartment, Mark...Dropped by unannounced," she wrote, adding that it was 11 AM and Hamill would probably know what's going on. Clearly I hadn't just dropped by for brunch," Fisher recalled.

However, Ford managed to convince Hamill that there is nothing between him and Fisher in the most unexpected way. The Han Solo depicter just took Fisher's hand and declared, "We're engaged."
"It was hiding in plain slight," Fisher explained. "Mocking the suggestion there was anything going on... A technique I like to use to this day."
Fisher finally confirmed rumors about her and Ford's affair when the first excerpt of her new book "The Princess Diarist" landed online earlier this week. The fling ended when the filming wrapped. He returned to his wife Mary Marquardt though their marriage eventually fell apart.
