Mark Wahlberg to remake 80's TV drama 'Highway to Heaven'

Producer-actor Mark Wahlberg is set to bring the 'Highway to Heaven', a TV drama series of the '80s, back on the small screen.
The 'The Fighter' star has a longstanding record of success as a TV producer - his shows 'Entourage', 'Boardwalk Empire' and 'In Treatment' have all been hits, reported Contactmusic.
Wahlberg, 42, is currently working on a reality TV show about his family's restaurant chain Wahlburgers.
The original version of the show ran through 1984-1989 and starred late actor Michael Landen who also was the executive producer of the five-season series.
