According to the band's official website, the shows scheduled to happen in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Milwaukee were part of the Maroon 5's Fall 2016 US tour.
Levine apologized to the fans and assured that they will perform in spring.
"Even when you think you've planned everything perfectly sometimes life just kinda happens. Soon Behati and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I'm sure you all understand, I need to be there but unfortunately this means some of Maroon 5's upcoming shows need to be rescheduled.
The group will kick off their tour again on October 3 in St Louis, US.
