Twinkle was bombared with tweets by a user asking her to change her surname as she is a married woman.
Replying to the guy in her witty manner, Twinkle said marriage does not imply being labeled for the rest of your life.
"A lot of people bring this up, though not as stridently as this gentleman-Khanna it will always be #MarriedNotBranded," she tweeted alongside a screenshot of the user's tweets.
Acclaimed film critic Bhawana Somaaya tweeted, "@mrsfunnybones love you babes, for your spunk, your wit, your guts."
While slamming the guy, one user wrote, "@mrsfunnybones internet shows no matter what time we have reached as a country some people will remain chauvinistic by designs.
