The biggest-ever battle between Marvel and DC will take place when both franchises face off on May 6, 2016, reported Access Hollywood.
Evans appeared to have learned of the showdown while attending the premiere of his latest film 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
"Well that's a shame," he said.
The 32-year-old actor went on to offer his predictions on who will win when Batman and Superman tangle in the upcoming DC movie.
"It's not really fair. Superman would beat everyone really, wouldn't he? What can't he do?" he joked.
Evans's co-star Sebastian Stan recently backed 'Captain America 3' over 'Batman vs Superman' in the box office competition.
