Masoor, its dal up on mixed trading

In a mixed pattern of trading, masoor and its dal prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following upsurge in demand from retailers.
However, urad and gram prices eased on persistent supplies against sluggish demand.
Traders said rising demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts led to the gain in masoor and its dal prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-6,000 and Rs 5,700-6,050 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,800-6,900 and Rs 6,900-7,000 per quintal, respectively.

Malka local and best quality also enquired higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,400-6,700 and Rs 6,600-6,700 per quintal, respectively.

On the other hand, urad and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,300-6,100 and Rs 6,800-7,000 per quintal, respectively. Urad dal best quality and dhoya went down by the similar margin to Rs 7,000-7,600 and Rs 7,400-7,800 per quintal, respectively.
Gram weakened by Rs 25 to Rs 2,825-3,725 and its dal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,500-3,700 and Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal, respectively.
