Max hovers around normal level in Punjab, Haryana

In Punjab and Haryana, the maximum temperatures hovered around normal levels today.
Chandigarh recorded a maximum of 33.5 deg C, the MeT department said here.
Ludhiana and Patiala in Punjab had a respective maximums of 33.6 deg C and 33 deg C. Amritsar recorded a high of 34 deg C.
In Haryana, Narnaul's maximum settled at 35.5 deg C.
Ambala, Hisar and Karnal recorded respective highs of 32.8 deg C, 35.5 deg C and 32.5 deg C.
The MeT in its forecast said light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana over the next two days.
