Max temperature hovers around normal in Pb & Hry

The maximum temperature hovered close to normal in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh today.
The joint capital of the two states, Chandigarh, recorded a high of 37.6 degrees Celsius.
Ambala in Haryana registered a high of 38.4 degrees Celsius while Hisar's maximum settled at 38.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, a MeT Department report said here.
Karnal recorded a high of 37.2 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar registered a maximum of 37.4 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana recorded a high of 36.8 degrees while Patiala's maximum was 38 degrees Celsius.
