Maximum rises a notch above normal on humid day

The maximum temperature was recorded a notch above normal as relatively hot and humid conditions prevailed in the national capital today.
The mercury settled at 32.5 degrees Celsius, a degree above normal for the time of the year, according to the MeT department.
The minimum was at 15.4 degrees, which was a notch below normal.
Humidity in air was between 38 and 94 per cent.
The city witnessed a misty morning, although the day subsequently turned out to be bright and clear.
The MeT department has predicted mist or shallow fog in the morning tomorrow although the day is likely to clear eventually.
