The Newline project will star McCarthy and be directed by Falcone, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The duo has also written the script and will produce the project, which in all possibilities will begin shooting in August.
The film re-teams McCarthy and Falcone with New Line after 2014's surprise hit "Tammy".
McCarthy will next be seen in much-hyped "Ghostbusters" reboot.
