MCG blacklists 2 firms

Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon has blacklisted two firms after the sanitation work done by them was found not up to the mark, officials said here today.
MCG has cancelled the bids of Shri Balaji Security Services and Perfect Manpower Solution Pvt Ltd after it was found during a review of their sanitation work of last two months that they neither deployed adequate man power as per tender conditions, nor provided sufficient equipments to clean the city, said MCG Commissioner P C Meena.
According to the tender conditions, the contractors were required to deploy 2,136 sweepers with all necessary equipments for cleanliness and garbage transportation vehicles like tractors.

It was clearly mentioned in the contract that the firms were to use biometric machines for daily attendance of the sweepers which they did not do, Meena said.
"The agencies have not only violated the tender and work order conditions but also performed poorly during the last two months...Even after several notices issued to these firms, they did not improve the sanitation work and ignored the directions given by MCG," he said.
