MCI sanctions 100 MBBS seats for Sardar Raja Medical college

The Medical Council of India has sanctioned 100 MBBS seats for the newly-established Sardar Raja Medical college at Bhawanipatna in Odisha's Kalahandi district.
"The new college can take 100 MBBS students from the current academic session," Health and Family Welfare minister Damodar Rout said today.
With this, the total number of MBBS seats in the state increased to 850, he said.
Health Secretary P K Mohapatra said the Centre has sanctioned Rs 150 crore each for installation of super speciality facilities at two government run medical colleges at Berhampur and Burla.
