Meat, skin of wild boar seized; 3 poachers held

Forest department officials today seized meat and skin of a wild boar from three poachers who were arrested from Odisha's Ganjam district.
The three were picked from Banthapalli in Polasara forest range area when they were selling the meat of the wild boar they had allegedly killed, Forest Range Officer, Polasara, Prabhat Ranjan Das said.
The meat and skin of the wild animal were seized from them, Das said.
The boar was suspected to have been hunted in a nearby forest, he said.
With this, forest officials arrested 11 wildlife poachers in 10 days in the district.
