Patkar is the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Mumbai North-East Lok Sabha seat, while Mahajan is in fray from Mumbai North-Central.
Arvind Sawant (Shiv Sena), Sanyal (AAP) and Prakash Reddy (CPM) filed papers from Mumbai South, while Aditya Shirodkar (MNS) and two Independents submitted nominations from Mumbai South-Central constituency.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena candidate in adjoining Raigad Lok Sabha seat Anant Gite submitted his documents in Alibaug, the district headquarters. AAP candidate from Raigad Sanjay Aapranti also filed his papers.
All these seats will go to the polls on April 24.
