CRPF in Avadi has agreed to coordinate distribution work depending on the need of the people, as four trucks of relief materials had already been sent to Chennai, by the Hospital, in association with Rotary Club of Coimbatore Spectrum.
On appeal from the Club, materials like bedsheets, milk powder, water bottles, medicines, bread, biscuits, sanitary napkins were received at three collection centres, all worth Rs 16 lakh and Rapid Action Force (RAF-105 Battalion) helped in logistics and sent the trucks with their jawans, Chendilnathan said.
