Medikoe has raised USD 100,000 in angel funding from Anil Menon, the CEO of CMS Computers to fuel expansion in Mumbai and NCR region by December 31 and in more than 20 cities by the first quarter of 2016, the company said in a release.
Launched in October 2015 by Sreevalsan Menon and Raman Shukla, Medikoe connects consumers to four major healthcare pillars; Hospitals, Diagnostic centre, Pharmacy and Wellness along with integrated deals on healthcare from 5 per cent to 30 per cent on a single platform.

Hindustan Foods, PepsiCo extend tie-up to manufacture Kurkure * Hindustan Foods today said its manufacturing and supply agreement with Pepsico India to manufacture various products, mainly Kurkure, has been extended till July 31, 2016.
In a filing to the BSE, Hindustan Foods said: "... Manufacturing and supply agreement entered by the company with Pepsico India Holdings to manufacture 'Kurkure' extruded products or any other products, as may be mutually agreed, under the trademark of 'Pepsico' at the company's manufacturing facility located at Usgaon, Ponda, Goa, has been extended now, and hence the company will continue to produce 'Kurkure' extruded products upto July 31, 2016."

Intellect bags deal from Turkey's Tacirler Investment
* IT firm Intellect Design Arena today said it has bagged a deal from Tacirler Investment in Turkey.
The company, however, did not disclose the size of the deal.
Tacirler chose to partner with Intellect to digitise its Brokerage, Wealth and Treasury operations and the implementation will provide them an edge amongst the capital market players in the region, a statement said.
Hexaware to continue with Jan-Dec as fiscal year * IT firm Hexaware Technologies today said it will continue to follow January-December as its financial year.
Most companies in the country follow April-March as their fiscal.
"Hexaware Technologies has received an order from the Company Law Board under section 2 (41) of the Companies Act, 2013 for continuing January to December as its financial year," it said in a filing.
Hence, the company will maintain its financial year from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015, it added.

Cholamandalam to buy White Data Systems for Rs 8 cr
"... The board of directors at their meeting held today approved a proposal to invest up to a sum not exceeding Rs 8 crore in equity shares of White Data Systems India Pvt Ltd..." Cholamandalam said in a regulatory filing.
The investment would be done in one or more tranches and subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence and documentation, it added.
This investment will result in company's holding up to 65 per cent of the equity capital of White Data, making the latter a subsidiary of the company.
IEEMA begins campaigning for World Electricity Forum 2016 * Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) today said it has commenced campaigning to share the contents of ELECRAMA 2016 - World Electricity Forum, which will be held in Bengaluru in February.
"Today, we held the first of the series of roadshows to share contents of the ELECRAMA-2016 among all direct and indirect stakeholders of the sector. Nearly 20 roadshows across India will be held for the 5-day mega event of ELECRAMA 2016," IEEMA President Babu Babel told reporters here.
He added that the event, scheduled to be held at Bengaluru from February 13 to 17 next year, will provide the industry a worldview on technology, best practices, new systems and forecasting the trends in the future of electricity, both from technology and a socio-economic point of view.
