Medium sugar ease on poor demand

Medium sugar eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to poor demand from stockists and retailers amid ample stock position.
While, small sugar closed mixed on alternate pattern of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) eased by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 3,176/3,322 from last Tuesday's closing level of Rs 3,180/ 3,322.
Small sugar (S-30) quoted by 3,106/3,202 per quintal to 3,095/3,202 as compared to Rs 3,095/3,212.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,106/3,202 (Rs 3,095/3,212).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,176/3,322 (Rs 3,180/3,322).
