Medium sugar prices gain on mild demand

Medium sugar prices edged up in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today on mild demand from stockists and retailers.
While, small sugar ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Medium sugar (M-30) moved up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 2,782/2,942 as against Rs 2,780/2,942.
Small sugar (S-30) closed unchanged at Rs 2,665/2,762.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,665/2,762 (Rs 2,665/2,762).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,782/2,942 (Rs 2,780/2,942.
