Medium sugar rebounds on fresh demand

Medium sugar rebounded at the Vashi wholesale market today owing to fresh demand from stockists and retailers.
Small sugar edged-up further due to mild offtake from stockists and bulk-consumers.
Medium sugar (M-30) climbed by Rs 12 per quintal to Rs 3,312/3,402 from last Saturday's level of Rs 3,312/3,390.
Small sugar (S-30) moved up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,252/3,312 from Rs 3,250/3,312 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,252/3,312 (Rs 3,250/3,312).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,312/3,402 (Rs 3,312/3,390).
