Meek Mill's New Year's eve gig in Las Vegas postponed

Meek Mill has officially pulled out of plans to ring in 2016 with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj in Las Vegas after probation officials banned him from leaving Pennsylvania.
The 28-year-old rapper violated the terms of his parole in a six-year-old drug and gun case earlier this month by repeatedly changing his court-approved travel schedule, and accompanying Minaj to the American Music Awards in Los Angeles in November without the permission of his probation officer, reported Billboard.
A Philadelphia judge set sentencing for February next year, while ordering Meek not to perform any shows or leave Pennsylvania.
As a result, the hip-hop star has been left with no choice but to scrap a show in the Sin City.

"Following the recent Pennsylvania court ruling, Meek Mill's scheduled New Year's Eve performance at Drai's Nightclub at The Cromwell in Las Vegas has been postponed until further notice," a representative for the club said.
"Headliner Nicki Minaj, who is also slated to appear that evening, will perform as scheduled.
