The high-level meeting, convened by Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra, was attended by representatives from municipal bodies, Delhi Development Authority (DDA), local MLA Vishesh Ravi besides state government officials.
"During the meeting, discussions were held over aspects like creating parking sites, expediting existing and overdue plans of MCD and DDA by Delhi Government, making Karol Bagh pedestrian-friendly, immediate implementation of traffic plan for the area," the government said in a statement.
The Government maintained a 'pedestrian-friendly' Karol Bagh will "radically" improve footfall for traders, make environment less polluted and traffic less congested.
