Singer-actress Miley Cyrus says meeting Queen Elizabeth and President Barack Obama were two of the scariest moments of her life.
The 20-year-old singer was in awe of the British monarch when she had the honour of being introduced to her before a performance and she was equally star-struck when she was introduced to President Barack Obama, reported Contactmusic.
"It was kind of insane for me when I had to perform for the president. That was kind of crazy. And the queen. Actually meeting her was scarier than the performance because I had to remember so much.
"Obama is the coolest person ever. He represents our country well and what we should be representing, something new and freedom and being capable of anything you want to do. That was one of the coolest things I've gotten to do," Cyrus said.
Despite causing controversy due to her raunchy performances and videos - most recently sparking outrage by provocatively grinding up against Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Awards - the singer believes she is sending her admirers a positive message about self-acceptance.
"I'm on such a platform where I can speak to so many people and I think it's important to send a message to my audience, and say be who you are, do what you do, be who you wanna be, live your life and don't worry about what people have to say about it," she added.
