The 43-year-old filmmaker's movie stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
In a Twitter post, Meghna revealed when she was young, she used to accompany her parents, poet-lyricist Gulzar and actress Raakhee on their outdoor shoots to the Valley.
"Kashmir. A large part of my childhood was spent here. On outdoor shoots of my mother and father. Returning for my film. Surreal. #Raazi," wrote the "Talvar" director.
Meghna also shared a silhouette picture of a lake and mountains at sunset.
The film will see Alia's character married to a Pakistani army officer, which will be played by Vicky.
