Melanie Brown has confirmed only she, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton will contribute in upcoming Spice Girls reunion in honour of the 20th anniversary of the group's first single "Wannabe".
Brown discussed the popular 1990s band reunion during her appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Thursday, September 8.
The upcoming reunion tour will likely start in London.
"We are going to do something us three," Mel B, 41, told Corden when asked about the rumoured three-piece reunion in honor of the 20th anniversary of the first Spice Girls album "Spice", "We're going to perform and celebrate together for the people."
When asked where the tour would be held, she replied, "Well, I think since we're a British band, we're probably going to start in London and then work our way around and see whoever else wants to see it."
When asked why they would reunite as a trio, Mel B joked, "Cause the other two didn't want to do it," referring to Melanie C and Victoria Adams. She laughed and clarified, "My other two fellow lovely ladies."
The 41-year-old singer explained, "You know Victoria is busy with her great fashion line and Mel C is doing her own album, so they gracefully said, 'You three go ahead and do it.' We're girl power. We support each other."
When asked if they ever thought about replacing Mel C and Victoria, Mel B said, "I don't think we could ever replace Sporty or Posh, but I would like to invite some people up on stage with us. That would be fun.
