Mel Gibson to get lifetime achievement honour at Vary Festival

Hollywood star Mel Gibson will receive lifetime achievement award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
Gibson, 58, will receive the Crystal Globe for lifetime achievement at the 49th edition of the festival, opening next week, said the Hollywood Reporter.
With the recognition, Gibson will join the likes of Helen Mirren, Jude Law and John Malkovich.
The festival's highest award goes to the actor, director and producer who made his name internationally known playing the title role in George Miller's 1979 futuristic action movie 'Mad Max'.
The festival will also present a screening of his latest film as a director, mystical drama 'Apocalypto'.
