At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December month eased by Rs 1.80, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 953 per kg in business turnover of 6 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in November month contracts traded lower by 70 paise, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 943.80 per kg in 163 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants amid a weak trend at spot market on sluggish demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh mainly kept mentha oil prices down at futures trade.
