Mercury continues to remain below 40 deg C in Delhi

Mercury continued to hover below 40 degree-mark in the national capital for consecutive second day today, giving some respite from sweltering heat but high humidity made life tough for Delhiites.
The day temperature settled at 39.8 deg C, one notch below normal and slightly higher from yesterday's 39.3 deg C.
The minimum temperature was registered at 29.1 deg C, one degree above normal and 3.4 points up from previous day's 25.7 deg C.
Humidity oscillated between 73 and 49 per cent.
MeT department have predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with maximum and minimum temperature expected to remain at 41 and 30 degree Celsius respectively.
