Metals end mixed in lacklustre trade

Base metals displayed a mixed trend at the non-ferrous metal market here today as prices of tin, copper utensils, copper cable and copper wire bar declined due to lower offtake from consuming industries.
Meanwhile, copper sheets cutting and aluminium utensils gained marginally on stray industrial buying support.
Tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,560 from last weekend's level of Rs 1,565.
Copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 442 against Rs 444 previously. Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 491 and Rs 519, respectively.
However, copper sheets cutting and aluminium utensils scrap edged up by Re 1 each to Rs 466 and Rs 137.
