A clerk working in Maharashtra Housing and Area development Authority's Nashik office was arrested for allegedly accepting Rs 3,000 bribe from a person, Anti-Corruption Bureau said.
Senior clerk Kailas Bhikaji Shelke had allegedly sought bribe from the complainant for change of ownership of an MHADA flat in Ahmednagar district, ACB said.
The flat was in the name of the complainant's father and he wanted it to be transferred to his name for which the clerk allegedly sought Rs 3,000 as bribe.
The complainant then approached ACB which laid a trap and arrested Shelke from his office while he was taking the bribe yesterday, an ACB release said.
