Mumbai International Airport Ltd and Stri Shakti Kendra, which operates a woman-driver taxi service, have agreed there would be an integrated pre-paid counter at the airport for all types of taxis.
Earlier, there was a separate counter for women-driven cabs, they told the bench headed by Justice V M Kanade.
The integrated pre-paid counter will also take bookings for woman-driver taxis at the Domestic Terminal 1A, the court was told.
Stri Shakti Kendra had filed a public interest litigation demanding space to park its taxis and other facilities.
MIAL has also agreed to provide five parking spots to woman-driven taxis in the parking lot for pre-paid Cool Cabs. However, it turned down the demand of taxi service that for every ten bookings of a pre-paid cool cab, one booking would go to woman-driven taxi service.
The court ordered these arrangements, worked out by the two parties, should be continued till January 31 when the matter would be heard next.
