Michael Le Vell has signed a new contract with "Coronation Street" and will continue playing Kevin Webster.
Kevin Webster first arrived on Coronation Street in 1983 and has largely been in the soap ever since, reported Digital Spy.
Le Vell took a break from the show in 2014 after admitting to taking cocaine and seeking professional help for personal issues, but returned the same year.
He also left it for almost a year while he fought 12 sex offence charges, but returned to the soap after being found not guilty of all charges in September 2013.
