The investment details were not shared. The Dell family foundation will hold a minority equity stake in the company, and Satyam Darmora, Portfolio Lead, Family Economic Stability will join the Board of Directors.
The Family Economic Stability portfolio of Michael & Susan Dell Foundation includes more than 25 microfinance and skill training institutions.
Kinara provides collateral free loans of Rs 50,000-Rs 10 lakh for asset finance and working capital to MSMEs.
Atul Jasra to head AOC India's tablet and smartphone biz * Electronics major AOC today said it has appointed Atul Jasra as Business Head for its tablets and smartphones business in India and other SAARC countries.
Jasra will be responsible for establishing the tablet and smartphone business vertical for AOC, it said in a statement.
Prior to AOC, he was instrumental in launching and establishing HCL ME tablets in India. He has also been part of launches in India like Casio Watches and Digital Cameras and INQ Mobiles. In the past, Atul headed the distribution business of Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone for more than 4 years.
Zensar Foundation launches Digital Literacy Centre in Pune * Zensar Foundation, the philanthropic arm of IT firm Zensar, today announced the launch of a National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) Centre in Pune in partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation and Nasscom Foundation.
"This initiative reinforces our support to the Prime Minister's mission of a digitally literate India, which is aimed at empowering at least one person per household with digital literacy by 2020," Zensar Technologies CEO and Vice Chairman and Nasscom Foundation Chairman Ganesh Natarajan said.
NASSCOM Foundation has pledged support to the NDLM and is working closely with the Department of Electronics & IT (DeitY) to train an initial pool of one million digitally literate Indians.
The NDLM envisions empowerment of at least one person per household with digital literacy skills by 2020.
