The 33-year-old musician is returning to music with "Hopeless Romantic", which will release on April 7, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The new album is inspired both by Branch's divorce from her husband of 11 years, Teddy Landau and her new relationship with the Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.
Carney has also co-written and produced the new set.
