Michelle Dockery cast as female lead in 'Network'
Ivo van Hove is directing the adaptation of the Oscar- winning film "Network" at the National Theatre in November, reported The Telegraph.
The "Downton Abbey" star will play Diana Christensen, the ruthless television executive played by Faye Dunaway in the 1976 film.
The production will mark Dockery's first performance at the theatre in eight years.
Cranston will make his British stage debut as Howard Beale, the psychologically unstable news anchor.
