Middle-aged woman hacked to death

A middle-aged woman was today hacked to death allegedly by her neighbour for practicing black magic at Chechani village under Tarhasi police station of Palamau distirct, police said.
Subia Devi was alone at home when her neighbour Abhisekh Kumar attacked her with a sharp weapon, police said adding that Subia Devi died on the spot.
Kumar managed to escape after allegedly committing the crime, police said.
Police suspected witchcraft being one of the reasons behind the killing.
