Driven by increase in sales turnover, Miele India, a unit of German high-end domestic appliances maker Miele, expects to contribute up to 4 per cent in its global sales in next three to four years.
In 2013-14, Miele had a global turnover of 3.22 billion euros and India's contribution in it at present is less than one per cent.
"Miele India would contribute between 3 to 4 per cent of its global sales in next three to four years. The kind of orders we have now from our project business, it has potential to reach (target) in the coming years," he told PTI.
To achieve the target, the company plans to increase its points of sales from 37 to 47 and would add Rajkot, Jaipur and Chandigarh in its network by 2015-end, he added.
He said the firm's project development business, in which it supplies high-end domestic appliances to luxury flat makers, is increasing and would contribute half of its total revenue by the end of next year.
"Last year, Miele's 90 per cent revenue came from retail and rest 10 per cent from project development business. This year it would be 65:35 and next year we are expecting it to be around 50:50," he added.
The company has entered into an agreement with leading luxury apartment builders.
"We are focusing on Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore as these have the maximum number of construction of luxury flats," Singh said, adding that Miele India would supply around 12,000 products to 3,000 flats constructed by ultra-luxury real estate developer M3M by the end of this year.
The company, which forayed into the Indian market in 2009, caters to high-end consumers.
It had recently launched a range of Tumble dryers, priced between Rs 79,990 to Rs 2.69 lakh, and washing machines, priced between Rs 84,990 to Rs 2.99 lakh.
It also sells coffee machines, priced between Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 4.29 lakh, and microwave ovens from Rs 1.69 lakh to Rs 1,89,990.
