The cook, Anup Kumar, has lodged a complaint in this regard with the Chandigarh police, the police said here.
Kumar alleged that he was beaten up by the ADC to the Haryana chief minister, Rajnish Garg, DSP Ram Gopal said, adding Garg was angry with the cook for not serving bread during breakfast on Thursday.
The cook alleged that he was beaten up in the presence of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the CM, Neeraj Daftuar, the DSP said.
Investigations into the allegations are underway and no case has been registered so far, the officer said.
Garg was appointed the Aide De Camp (Tour) to the chief minister last year.
