According to the police, Kailash Jyoti was found unconscious withfoaming around his mouth when they reached the spot after receiving information.
Though he was taken to a nearby hospital, he could not be saved. His body has been shifted to the Government hospital in Kottayam, police said.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the incident, they said.
