It was earlier said that the former couple had just taken a break but a source close to them has confirmed they both have called it quits, reported People magazine.
"It's not a break. It's done. They're just in two different places in their lives - he's in college and she's focused on her music and career," the source said.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 22, has been busy recording in the studio, travelling with friends and attending events solo without Schwarzenegger, 21, who was spotted with friends at Coachella two weekends in a row.
The two, however, were spotted grabbing juice at Hugo's restaurant in Studio City and on March 23, enjoying a dinner date at Kiwami Sushi in Los Angeles, fuelling rumours that they were back together.
