The family of a terminally ill girl named Miley Hodge, seven, who is battling Stage IV Osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, allegedly said that the child's wish to meet the singer didn't happen as well as they had hoped, reported Radar online.
Doctors told her family last December that she had just four-to-six months to live.
Braving their final months together, the girl's family reached out to Make-A-Wish, who granted Hodge the chance to meet a celebrity of her choice.
"The family went to Los Angeles and were put off for nearly a week before they met Cyrus. They finally met at the recording studio and from what I understand, Cyrus was more interested in what she was doing in the studio than paying attention to the little girl," said a source.
However, the girl's father, Bert Hodge, insisted that the family was grateful for the chance to meet Cyrus in person.
